Bluewater Studios premiered the feature film, To Leslie at SXSW 2022. Their goal at SXSW was to promote and sell the film thought hosting a premier afterparty near The State Theater. With COVID restrictions in Hollywood, they needed to have a venue the was near by the studio and offered indoor and outdoor seating while economizing their budget and encompassing the film’s west Texas vibe..

EXECUTION

Venue search was the first step here and we helped contract the bar at the Stephen F Austin that was a short block from the theater and enhanced the space by re arranging existing furniture to bring in additional pieces. We pitched a “Texas Dance Hall” theme with neon blue and red up lighting and a stage wash to highlight the Vinyl Ranch DJ set.
